General Information about our pit ...
All proceeds benefit local school and fire department
 
- Pit rents for $500 per weekend event, paid upon delivery to your site.
- Rack rotation is 4 minutes, 120v, controlled at rear of pit.
- Renter provides propane fuel (~5 gal/hr @ 300 deg F - depending on ambient temp).
- Pit will be delivered and retrieved from your location.
- $150 deposit required, returned if pit is sufficiently cleaned after use.

           Approximate loaded amounts:
- 800-1,000 chicken halves ... or
- 204 pork rib racks ... or
- 1,360 lbs sausage ... or
- 1,250 lbs brisket (~102 whole) ... or simply ~80lbs per rack of meat
 
  Pit is a registered "Catastrophe Food Distribution Point" by the St. Mary Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness and FEMA
